global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]The FUTURE Fund \u2013 Portuguese acronym for Fundo Territ\u00f3rios Unidos por Recursos para a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u2013 supports the Agricultural Family Schools model to enhance development of individuals and territories in the Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>These schools emphasize vocational training in harmony with the local ecosystem. The curriculum is designed to attend to the region\u2019s uniqueness. In remote riverside communities, which are the initial focus of the project, students alternate between 15 days at the schools and 15 days with their families. Graduates are integrated into the local economy centered on agro-extractive industries such as a\u00e7a\u00ed and fishing.<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of the FUTURE Fund are the institutional development of the Schools and improvements to their management, ensuring their financial self-sufficiency and the continuity of the educational programs.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
